About Palomponganons in Alberta

Palomponganons in Alberta is a vibrant and close-knit community of Filipinos from Palompon, Leyte who have made Alberta their home. United by shared heritage, faith, and friendship, we come together to celebrate our roots, support one another, and keep the spirit of Palompon alive across generations.

Our group aims to strengthen community ties through cultural events, and faith-based activities highlighted by our annual St. Francis Xavier Fiesta Celebration, a cherished tradition that brings together Palomponganons, their families, and friends from all over Canada.

We take pride in preserving our traditions while embracing the diversity and opportunities that Alberta offers. Through service, camaraderie, and cultural pride, we continue to embody the values of unity (pagkakaisa), generosity (pagtabang), and faith (pagtuo), the same values that make Palomponganons truly exceptional wherever we are in the world.
